I have mp3 files and video clips on my laptop.
In case it ever crashes, I want to be able to have a copy outside the laptop…so should I save it on a CD or DVD?
can I do a data dvd or will i be unable to take files from it later on?
will a data cd work better? advice please! i have lots of songs and video files..LOTS.

You can burn DVDs..That is a good way to back up your data..
But it’s easy to put them in a external hard disk..it is fast and safe..
Or you can put them in a another partition on your own hard disk.in case of a system crash you don’t need to worry..coz you can reinstall the OS by formatting the partition that has the old OS..not the one that has your songs..
Ya.. you can write these files (MP3 or Video what ever may be)… on a Data CD or DVD…
