Hi all,
I recently received some gift cards for Christmas and was thinking about purchasing an MP3 player. I was just wondering which one would be the best buy for my money. My friend has an ipod and recommends that but I’d like some other opinions as well.
Thanks in advance.

I would have said DMC Xcelf 500 because I bought it when the IPOD had about 80gb if even that and It allows 130gb. But they don’t make it anymore and it’s larger than the ipod classic. The other drawback is the lack of support for the DMC. IPOD to me is crap because of the itunes copyright features which to me are ridiculous and last I heard were on the way out. However IPOD has tons of supporting items like radios for your car and home and probably even underwater
LOL
I think it really depends on what you need the music for? Do you intend to carry it everywhere? Do you have 100GB+ of music like I do?
Do you have a phone which can play mp3’s?
Maybe you can upgrade your phone and use it? I am looking at the samsung omnia because it has 8gb hd built in and I can buy a 16gb microsd card for it so that is enough music for most boring moments.
