leawo video converter is a sharp and easy to use conversion tool for converting between video formats. It may help you
you can dl leawo video converter at http://www.moyeamedia.com/leawo-video-converter/
mp4’s work
Hmm. I don’t know.
Go to http://www.mediaconverter.org. You can convert 10 different things per day.
I am not familiar with the software your player came with, but the best place to get help on any video conversion related matters is http://www.videohelp.com. It is a large user forum with friendly people. They also have a large directory of guides and conversion tools (which is searchable) to help you out.
Maybe you could post some specs like what type of mp3 player you have and the name of the software.
You can also use this converter: http://www.soft29.com/freeware/smv_converter.htm which will convert from downloaded youtube videos (usually .flv format) to .smv.
I did a quick search but did not find any info on your SMV format. I did find this in another forum from a google search:
"What you need to do is download the software from the disc that it came with but in case that doesnt work download it directly from their website.
Go here : http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa3125_37/sa3125_37_mcs_aen.zip and download the smv converter
and download the Media Converter Software, install it, and you’re done! If you or anyone else has this problem with a Philips MP3 player then just enter your MP3’s model number and look for Software & Drivers in the Product Support section."
If the converter from the above link doesn’t convert from downloaded youtube videos, then you will have to use another program to convert the video to .wmv format (windows media video) first. Then convert to smv with the program from the link above.
I think your mp3 (if it can play video) support mp4 format…
I use mp4Mobile – powerful and easy-to-use tool that enables you to convert your digital video to *.mp4 format for use on mobile devices, such as iPods (iPod classic, iPod nano, iPod touch), iPhones, Sony PlayStation Portables (PSP), cellular phones and other mobile devices.
