My friends radio display in his car shows the name of the band and song when you play CDs, but only in MP3 format. The only CD burning program I have is WIndows Media and it burns in wma format. Can anyone suggest a software I can download for free that will allow me to burn CDs in MP3 format?

you need to burn the mp3’s as a data disc, so you can use IMGburn from sourceforge, it works great. to covert the wma’s theres a few programs out there, but i’d suggest ripping to mp3 from now on. you can change the prefferences in windows media player to always rip to mp3 instead of wma. once again, use IMGburn, to burn a DATA disc. you don’t need a proprietary program to do this. avoid nero whenever possible.
