i have a samsung sync [SGH A707] and I’ve gotten a lot of free ringtones via bluetooh, and from the internet.I can set them as ringtones for calls, but not text messages. WHY? it’s the same format. and as of right now i have to use that annoying one that came on the phone. what do I do?

Its not the ring tones its just the phone.

I have that same phone! I dont think you are able to make a ringtone for a text message, you just have to use the ones it has.
i have the same problem, but i think its becuase my phone just doesn’t support it. or becuase my phone isn’t really new so i dn’t think it plays ringtones as text messsages
