I would like to take the sound from a video file and make it into an MP3 file. If you could do this with Windows Movie Maker, that would be great, but I bet you can’t. Does anyone know of any reliable free programs, that can do this?

Hey u can use E.M. Total Video converter v3.14 or above. it is a great software in which u can perform all possible conversions ie video to audio, different video formats n etc. you can get it on http://www.downloads.com or other such websites.

You may try this video converter, my friends recommend it to me. It can help you extract audio from video to mp3 or wma audio file, it’s easy to use and works pretty well for me, I think it deserves for a try.
