I can click on download ringtones in the menu key, and then choose a ringtone, but i don’t want to pay with a credit card. Is there a way to buy a ringtone and then have the charges added to you bill?

Use a SD card for your phone and copy any media files you have on your PC directly to the ringtone folder of the phone. Be careful when browsing the file system of your BB or you can brick your phone. You can use either a direct USB connection or a USB card reader to make the additions
Yes, most if not all carriers will put the ringtone charges right on your monthly bill. Check with your carrier and see if that option is available.
