so i used it to download a video to my philips Gogear 2 gb mp3 player and when it’s hooked up to the computer it says it’s on the device but when I unhook it to watch the video,the mp3 player says no videos found-what does this mean?

I don’t know if you actually mean mp4 player but you cannot play videos on an mp3 player. mp3 is music format only. If you want to play videos, you need an mp4 player.
Respectfully to the aswerer above me, my Coby 805 mp3 player plays video but is frustrating to convert and load. I was successful in getting about 6 seconds of video to play on it. Was still lots of memory left.
Even though my mp3 player came with its own video converter, I have given up trying to put video onto my mp3.
