I am planning to buy an MP3 player that supports MP3 and WMA files. But i was wondering if tracks downloaded from itunes would work on it?
(please answer i’m kinda desperate)

No the iTunes tracks won’t work. They are in a protected AAC format and can’t be converted.
As long as the file you are download is an MP3 file, it should work, however if it an MPEG file, it needs to be converted to an MP3 file before transfering.
