I transfered them fine I thought because the songs i transferred from my cd to my mp3 player were all listed in my mp3 file when it is pluged into my computer but once i actually listen to my player no songs play on my mp3 player. I noticed that illegal downloaded songs play fine, just not songs from my actual cd’s? what am i doing wrong?

Try using http://www.rhapsody.com/-software that’s what I use to put music on my mp3 player. You start the rhapsody software then you plug your mp3 player in. Then you put a cd in and the name of the cd shows up on the left. where your mp3 player is. You just let it copy all the songs to your library. I never have any problems with rhapsody its easy
