I just recently purchased an alltel palm treo 700p. I was wondering how I would upload ringtones, bluetooth them, etc. Do I need to buy a special program? Basically I want to be able to use ringtones besides the ones that are on my phone now. What do I need to do in order to be able to do this?

if the ringtone format that you downloaded is a mid file format, it will be listed on the selection. just go to sound prefs. select the application as phone and select the ringtone that you want. if the ringtone that you downloaded is a mp3 format, you will need to purchase a 3rd party software like ringo or ringo pro to use it as a ringtone.
