I want to have different ringtones for different people in my phone so I know who’s calling without having to look at my phone. I can’t figure out how to do it on the E63.

Mmm. Well in order for you to be able to add individual ringtones, you have to have your phonebook saved to the phone. If you are looking at your phonebook from your SIM card, you will not be able to do this. Usually on nokia phones you just have to do this.
Open Contacts, open contact you want to change ringtone, select Options and scroll down to where it says "Ringing Tone" I have e71 which is basically same phone aside from some features and this is how I do it on mine. Hope this helps.
