Well, there is never an easy answer to any question but I will try to help you out. Try to stick to a brand name that you are comfortable with. A brand name preferably. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well, not exactly. You need to follow a certain way of doing it. I will walk you through the process.
You need to find the 10 best MP3 Players on the market regardless of the cost. You are not going to buy them you are just going to look at there features online. So, go ahead and go to ebay or amazon and check them out.
What you will now do is get more detailed so I would like you to get either a pen and paper but if you prefer you can use a word processing program or a spreadsheet. Spreadsheets are what I prefer because it is quite organized but you may feel otherwise. I would like you to start by listing the brand and model for each one with room to spare below each one.
You will want to write down ALL of the features that YOU like about each of the MP3 Players. Writing down the info as you go through each make and model. Make sure your list of features includes how much storage / memory each one has and if it has FM Stereo or not and if it takes regular batteries or is rechargeable.
Then what you need to do is again pull up a list of mp3 players but this time make it a list of 10 Cheap MP3 Players by name brand that you can find. One you have found 10 of them make your list and write down all of the features of them again for each make and model.
Now, go through all of them and circle the ones that have features or use the highlight feature on your spreadsheet for the cheaper ones only that are similar to the higher priced ones. Now, put a star by the features you care most about for the 10 cheaper mp3 players.
The last part is for you to tally up the stars and circles and see which one has the most marks and that will be the best one for you to purchase.
I know it sounds like a lot of work but this is a simple process to do once you get the hang of it. Also, it will allow you to be able to compare anything you every wish to buy this way. It will allow you to get the most for your money and always make a wise choice as well.
